Pm Group are now recruiting for a BIM Lead to join the Project Management team to lead BIM coordination, governance and model-based delivery across the lifecycle of a key Data Centre project in Belgium.
The role ensures BIM workflows, federated model coordination, data requirements and model-based deliverables are clearly defined, coordinated and monitored in line with client requirements, project BIM standards and agreed governance on site.

Responsibilities
General BIM Leadership, Governance and Project Management Interface
Develop, implement and maintain the Project BIM Strategy, BIM Execution Plan and supporting BIM procedures.Clarify client BIM requirements and translate them into practical model requirements, BIM data requirements, workflows and deliverable expectations.Define and review BIM deliverable requirements and acceptance criteria for each project stage, including model quality, data quality, coordination readiness and model-based handover.Establish BIM coordination cadence, including model exchange, federation, reviews, data drops and coordination meetings aligned with project milestones.Maintain the BIM responsibility matrix, covering model ownership, authoring, data responsibilities and model-based deliverable ownership.Define BIM use of the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Forma) for model exchange, status management, review cycles and model-based workflows.Monitor compliance with the BIM Execution Plan, agreed BIM workflows, model exchange formats, software requirements and model coordination procedures.Act as the primary BIM point of contact for the client, Project Management team, design teams, Construction Management team, contractors, consultants and vendors.Lead BIM coordination meetings, workshops and model reviews, ensuring actions are recorded, assigned, tracked and escalated as required.Identify and escalate BIM risks, non-compliances, coordination blockers and model-based information issues through agreed governance channels.Design-Specific Responsibilities
Oversee model federation during design and support structured model-based design reviews.Oversee design-stage clash management and BIM issue tracking, ensuring issues are assigned, monitored and closed.Support design teams, consultants and specialist vendors in aligning model content, BIM information requirements and coordination outputs with project milestones.Review design-stage BIM deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria, including coordination readiness, model quality and data quality.Report design-stage BIM status, risks, blockers and required decisions to the Project Manager and relevant stakeholders.Construction-Specific Responsibilities
Support BIM delivery during construction in coordination with the Project Management and Construction Management teams.Coordinate contractor and specialist vendor BIM models, data drops, model exchanges and construction-stage workflows.Track model updates, BIM issue resolution and construction-stage coordination inputs by responsible parties.Review contractor and vendor BIM deliverables against agreed acceptance criteria, including model quality, data quality and exchange requirements.Support the BIM interface with 4D planning where required, including model readiness, data alignment and inputs for construction sequencing.Support model verification activities, including point cloud integration, scan-to-BIM workflows and as-built validation where required.Support BIM interface with handover and operational readiness, including as-built models, asset information and model-based close-out deliverables.Identify and escalate construction-phase BIM risks related to model status, data quality, contractor deliverables, workflow compliance and model-based handover.Decision Making & Escalation
The BIM Lead makes BIM-related technical, coordination and information management decisions within the agreed project governance framework, including adjustments to workflows, coordination methods, review approaches and practical acceptance criteria.
Commercial, contractual, programme, resource or project-critical BIM risks are escalated through the appropriate management channels.
