Head of Plant Controlling - Europe

You will play a central role in monitoring and driving operational performance, helping business leaders translate industrial activities into measurable financial outcomes.

Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will contribute to both short-term performance delivery and long-term value creation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving financial and operational performance management across manufacturing activities
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes for industrial operations
  • Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, productivity and resource allocation
  • Analyzing cost structures, operational efficiencies and key performance drivers
  • Supporting business leaders through data-driven recommendations and robust financial insights
  • Challenging assumptions and influencing decision-making through fact-based analysis
  • Developing and enhancing performance management tools, reporting frameworks and financial governance practices
  • Supporting investment evaluations, business cases and transformation initiatives
  • Monitoring operational risks and ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening business performance
  • Collaborating with finance and operational teams across multiple locations and functions.




Head of Plant Controlling - Europe

We are looking for a seasoned finance professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with a genuine understanding of industrial operations.

You bring:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or Business Administration
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Significant experience in industrial finance, controlling or performance management within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of cost management, profitability analysis and operational performance measurement
  • Experience operating in international and matrix organizations
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively
  • Strong business acumen coupled with excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience supporting operational and strategic decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in English with knowledge of French and/or Dutch
  • Open to travel occasionally.
