Company Introduction :
ASCO, part of Swiss group Montana Aerospace, began operations as a private subcontractor in 1954.
Today ASCO Group is engaged in a broad range of development, engineering, manufacturing and assembly activities providing multidisciplinary subcontracting services to various markets and aerospace programs around the world.
Asco operates from several locations, Belgium, Canada, Germany and USA, with a turnover exceeding 340 million euros.
Asco produces over 2,500 assemblies every month and has the ambition to be a world leader in design and manufacture of high lift devices, complex mechanical assemblies and major functional components for the aerospace industry.
Montana Aerospace AG is a highly-vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace, e-mobility and energy sectors with worldwide engineering and manufacturing operations has acquired 100% of the share of the Asco Group beginning of April 2022.
Asco is now looking for a Head of Programs Europe.
Accountabilities :
Own and lead the complete European Programs portfolio across all European sitesDeliver revenue, margin, cash flow and customer performance targetsLead strategic customer relationships and act as executive escalation point for EuropeOwn portfolio governance, risk management, contract performance and recovery initiativesLead and develop the European Program Management organizationDrive regional competitiveness, operational excellence and business performance improvement initiativesContribute to global portfolio strategy and long-term (existing) customer growth plan1. Regional Business & Portfolio Leadership
Define and deploy the European Programs strategy aligned with global objectivesGovern portfolio performance through regular business reviews and corrective actionsPrioritize resources across sites and programs to maximize business performanceLead decisions regarding program priorities, trade-offs and escalation managementSupport strategic planning for existing and future customer programs.2. Financial & P&L Management
Hold full accountability for the European program portfolio P&LLead forecasting, budgeting and long-range planningDrive margin improvement, cost reduction and cash generation initiativesMonitor business risks and opportunities affecting financial performanceEnsure achievement of revenue and profitability commitments3. Customer & Commercial Leadership
Serve as executive interface for key European customersLead major commercial discussions, negotiations and customer escalationsOversee claims management, change management and contract executionSupport growth opportunities through contract extensions and additional businessEnsure long-term customer satisfaction and retentionSupport and further develop the program management processes in line with corporate guidelines4. Team Leadership
Lead the Program management team across EuropeBuild organizational capability, succession plans and talent pipelinesEstablish high-performance and accountability cultureDrive collaboration across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Business DevelopmentDevelop and sustain team operations in a matrixed organization through cross-functional managementProfile Know How and Experience
Education:Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or related discipline; Master degree preferred
Language: Fluent in English and Dutch/French
Experience, Skills & Competencies:
12+ years of aerospace, manufacturing or industrial leadership experienceSignificant P&L accountability and portfolio leadership experienceDemonstrated success leading complex multinational customer programsExecutive stakeholder management and negotiation experienceProven track record in building and developing teamsDrives for resultsSkilled communicator (verbal and written) / Presentation skillsAble to manage competing priorities and conflictFlexible (including travel flexibility)Our Offer:
