Job Description
As an Electricity Engineer, you will join the maintenance and engineering teams of a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Belgium.
You will support a large-scale program of capital projects and electrical compliance initiatives, helping the site keep pace with an ambitious modernization and remediation roadmap.
This role acts as a technical anchor between engineering studies and on-site execution, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance, quality of deliverables, and project coordination.
You will review and validate electrical studies, verify the sizing of low- and high-voltage installations, and follow up on works through to completion, using tools such as Caneco or Elec Calc to support your analysis.
We're looking for someone with strong technical rigor, a first solid experience in project management, and a collaborative mindset to help secure compliance and operational continuity across the site.
The Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the maintenance, engineering, and contractor teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and validating technical deliverables, including electrical schematics, calculation notes, and power balance studies
- Verifying the sizing of low- and high-voltage installations against RGIE requirements and internal standards
- Preparing, updating, and reissuing electrical calculation notes to support compliance and modernization projects
- Providing technical support to the project manager and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Monitoring project schedules and following up on site execution
- Participating in site meetings and tracking technical deviations through to resolution
- Overseeing contractor performance, controlling the quality of works, and coordinating corrective actions
- Contributing technical expertise to resolve on-site electrical issues and propose practical, compliant solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- You have at least 5 years of experience in industrial electrical engineering
- You have hands-on experience in electrical design and sizing studies
- You have a first solid experience in project management and are comfortable working with a good degree of autonomy on small to mid-sized projects
- You have a strong command of RGIE regulatory requirements
- You are proficient with electrical calculation software such as Caneco, Elec Calc, or an equivalent tool
- You hold a BA5 electrical authorization, mandatory before starting; a BA4 and/or VCA certification is a plus
- Your communication is clear and effective with the different stakeholders
- You have a problem-solving mindset and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The Recruitment Process
By applying for the "Electricity Engineer" position, you will go through the following steps in our recruitment process:
- Olivia Braszko, Talent Acquisition Specialist, will review your CV and schedule a first screening call to assess your motivation and answer all of you questions
- You will have a technical interview with one of our Technical Experts
