About the Client
Our client is a leading organisation within the industrial manufacturing sector, operating a large-scale, enterprise IT environment across multiple locations. They are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team on a long-term contract.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the client's network infrastructure. You will work within a complex enterprise environment, ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the network landscape while contributing to infrastructure automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and support Cisco routing and switching environments.
- Manage and optimise Fortinet firewall solutions.
- Support VMware networking within virtualised environments.
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve incidents.
- Assist with infrastructure automation using Ansible.
- Work closely with infrastructure and security teams to deliver network improvements.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer within enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet firewalls.
- Experience supporting VMware environments.
- Exposure to infrastructure automation using Ansible.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. xirbnpk
- Fluent in both English and Dutch (mandatory).
Contract Details
Location: Brussels (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 months+
Rate: Competitive daily rate
