Every laptop, switch and radio has to arrive, be
checked, be labelled, be recorded, reach the right person and
eventually be disposed of properly. This role owns that chain for
the IT estate — logistics and asset management from receipt to
disposal, with the records that make an annual inventory survive
inspection. Two identical positions are open on the same
requirement; one starts at the beginning of October and the other
ten days later. What you would be doing Maintain accurate property
accounting records for IT assets in the logistics management
system. Look after equipment from the moment it is ordered to the
day it is written off — receiving, storing, issuing, moving and
disposing of it. Support periodic and annual inventory inspections,
reconcile records and resolve discrepancies. Monitor warehouse
activity — receiving, inspection, labelling, storage and issue to
end users. Check deliveries and shipments for quantity, quality and
labelling before they are issued. Work with technicians so the
equipment requested actually matches what the user needs. Prepare
and keep logistics documentation, asset records and supporting
reports. Report regularly on asset status, inventory activity and
logistics actions. Recommend improvements to logistics processes
and asset accountability. What you would bring Higher vocational
training in a relevant discipline with two years of related
experience, or a secondary qualification with four. Vocational
training in supply, logistics or supply chain management. A proven
understanding of asset acquisition procedures. Practical experience
with Oracle ERP logistics and asset management modules. The ability
to advise on the technical side of IT equipment, not only the
paperwork. Experience compiling, verifying, recording and
processing forms and documents to a defined directive. Useful but
not essential: Oracle Business Intelligence or Power BI for
logistics reporting, prior work in an international civilian and
military environment, and strong Excel and SharePoint. The work is
full time on site in Brussels. No travel.
