We are looking for a Sr. Market Analysis Manager (m/f/x) to drive deep market intelligence for our European energy storage business. In this role, you will be the go‑to expert on market dynamics, policy landscapes, competitor strategies, and industrial chain trends. Your insights will directly shape our product roadmap, market expansion plans, and strategic decisions across Europe.

This position is remote within Europe, preferably in Germany, Spain or the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Regular Market Monitoring & Analysis

• Track market changes, competitor movements, policy updates, technology iterations, and supply chain trends.
• Identify opportunities and risks, and produce regular regional market analysis reports.

Specialized Analysis & Strategic Insights

• Deliver ad‑hoc reports on market segments, key customers, major projects, business models (e.g., VPP, storage leasing, power market arbitrage), pricing, and system cost calculations.
• Provide decision‑making support for business operations in Europe.

Policy Tracking & Interpretation

• Analyze EU and country‑specific market access thresholds, certification requirements, and localization policies.
• Help business teams navigate compliance challenges and uncover new opportunities.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Product, R&D, and Marketing teams to communicate market needs and drive product iteration for European differentiation.
• Participate in regional Go‑to‑Market (GTM) activities and bridge communication between headquarters and the region.
• Partner with the HQ market analysis team to share insights and support systematic research.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry exhibitions, conferences, client visits, and other market intelligence channels.
• Establish and manage a regional market analysis database for business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Economics, Energy Engineering, International Trade, Statistics, or related experience.
• 8+ years of market analysis experience in energy storage, solar, or power equipment.
• Business fluent English language skills, other European languages e.g. German, French, Spanish and especially Chinese would be considered a big plus.
• Proven track record of research, data analysis, reporting, and strategy implementation in European storage markets (UK, Germany, Italy, Spain required).
• Familiar with European storage business models (VPP, leasing, power arbitrage) and regulations.
• Ability to interpret EU/country policies, subsidies, certifications, and grid codes.
• Strong data analysis skills and proficiency with analytical tools.
• Knowledge of competitor positioning and the European storage supply chain.
• Ability to write high‑quality, insight‑driven reports independently.
• Strong logical thinking, business judgment, and market responsiveness.
