In this key role, you will work closely with leaders and employees to turn business and people needs into practical solutions that support business continuity, growth and an engaging employee experience. You will combine hands‑on HR expertise with a strategic mindset—and you will not be afraid to challenge the status quo when it matters. /p h3Here’s what you’ll do: /h3 h3Be the trusted first‑line HR partner for leaders and employees. /h3 h3Translate business and people needs into concrete actions across workforce and succession planning, performance management, compensation and benefits, retention and employee relations. /h3 h3Guide managers through complex HR matters, objective investigations, career development topics, performance conversations, disciplinary actions and organisational change /h3 h3Address legal and compliance risks, including guidance on labour relations matters. /h3 h3Use trends, metrics and business insights to keep the pulse on people trends and to shape smart HR solutions, programmes, policies and practices. /h3 h3Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning Development, Compensation Benefits, Payroll, Legal and other HR specialists /h3 h3Lead and/or implement HR projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and sustainable impact. /h3 h3Contribute to company‑wide HR initiatives /h3 pEnsure that key HR documentation is accurate and consistently maintained. /p h3Who are we looking for? /h3 h3Education /h3 pA master’s degree. /p h3Experience /h3 pAt least 5 years of relevant HR experience; experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals is highly valued. /p h3Languages /h3 pExcellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English, complemented by strong interpersonal and presentation skills. /p h3Strengths /h3 ul liA people-focused, results‑oriented approach and the ability to turn ideas into action. /li liThe confidence to influence, build trust, manage conflict and challenge constructively. /li liEmpathy, integrity and discretion, combined with clear and assertive communication. /li liThe agility to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment and help others navigate change. /li /ul h3Expertise /h3 h3A sound understanding of Belgian social law; experience with different work regimes and collective labour agreements is a plus. /h3 pA strong data‑driven mindset; the ability to translate data and insights into informed decisions and actions. /p pbWhat do
