We are seeking an Senior QA/QC to join an established team responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and installation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System, managing supplier and subcontractor quality performance, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the Quality Management System across manufacturing, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and handover activities.

Key responsibilities
include:
- Reviewing technical specifications, contractual quality requirements, applicable standards, and codes.
- Developing and maintaining Project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans .
- Supporting procurement teams in the evaluation and qualification of suppliers and subcontractors.
- Monitoring supplier and subcontractor quality performance through audits, inspections, and ongoing surveillance activities.
- Coordinating third-party inspectors and arranging inspections at supplier facilities when required.
- Reviewing engineering documentation and technical specifications from a quality perspective.
- Leading pre-production and quality review meetings prior to manufacturing activities.
- Managing quality reporting, documentation, notifications, and stakeholder communications.
- Conducting technical assessments related to fabrication, welding, mechanical activities, NDT, pressure equipment, and electrical systems.
- Monitoring supplier orders throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from placement to final inspection and Manufacturing Record Book review.
- Managing quality issues and driving timely resolution of non-conformances.
- Implementing corrective and preventive actions and facilitating root cause investigations.
- Escalating quality risks, manufacturing concerns, and delivery issues that could impact schedules, compliance, or product integrity.
- Supporting installation, commissioning, certification, and handover activities from a quality perspective.
- Promoting continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards throughout the organization.
- Demonstrating strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Required Knowledge & Experience
- Welding processes, including WPS/WPQR qualification and review.
- Non-Destructive Testing methods including PT, MT, UT, AUT, and RT.
- Strong metallurgy knowledge covering:
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Duplex Stainless Steel
- Inconel and other nickel alloys
- Quality Management Systems.
- Pressure equipment manufacturing and inspection.
- Electrical and compression systems knowledge is beneficial.
- Experience managing supplier and subcontractor quality performance. Education & Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
- International Welding Engineer or International Welding Technologist certification preferred.
- ISO 9712 or ASNT NDT certification is advantageous.
- Additional quality-related certifications are considered beneficial.
