h3Function /h3pOur client is looking for a Medior Security Privacy Consultant to strengthen its information security, privacy, and access management capabilities. In this role, you'll work closely with key security and privacy stakeholders to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's security and privacy framework. You'll contribute to risk management, governance, compliance, awareness initiatives, and incident response, helping ensure that security and privacy requirements are effectively integrated into projects and day-to-day operations. This is a long-term consulting opportunity for a proactive professional who combines technical knowledge with strong communication and advisory skills. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop, coordinate, and deliver information security and privacy awareness initiatives. /liliSupport security and privacy leadership in their daily activities and ongoing improvement initiatives. /liliMaintain and further develop the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Information Management System (PIMS). /liliConduct security and privacy risk assessments and monitor the implementation of mitigation measures. /liliContribute to internal and external audits, including preparation, documentation, and follow-up activities. /liliAdvise project teams and operational stakeholders on security and privacy requirements. /liliSupport privacy management activities, including Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), records of processing activities, data subject rights, and processor management. /liliParticipate in security incident response activities, supporting incident analysis, handling, reporting, and post-incident evaluation. /li /ulh3The Ideal Candidate /h3ulliProven experience in privacy management, including a Data Protection Officer (DPO) certification. /liliSolid experience as a security consultant in at least one of the following areas: data security, infrastructure security, or application security. /liliHands-on experience implementing and managing security and privacy measures in Microsoft Azure. /liliStrong knowledge of information security management principles and the ISO 27000 series of standards. /liliA bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, such as Computer Science or Information Technology. /liliExperience implementing security projects is an advantage. /liliFamiliarity with security and privacy controls in other cloud environments, Belgian NIS2 obligations, and ITIL is considered a plus. /liliStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams. /liliAn independent, proactive, and structured approach to problem-solving. /li /ulh3Practical Information /h3pThis is a long-term consulting assignment. Candidates must have English proficiency at CEFR C1 level and be fluent in either Dutch or French at CEFR C1 level.
