About the role

You will play a key role in delivering complex projects within a state‑of‑the‑art biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will lead process and equipment improvement initiatives, solve technical challenges across manufacturing, engineering, automation and digital systems, and contribute to operational excellence.

You will be working in a multidisciplinary team that partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, automation, digital technology, quality, and external suppliers. Together, you will support critical manufacturing operations, deliver strategic improvement projects, and solve complex technical challenges that contribute to the production of innovative medicines. What you’ll do

  • Lead complex process and equipment improvement projects from planning through execution and implementation.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, resource strategies, and risk mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing, engineering, and automation‑related issues.
  • Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance.
  • Support production activities and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

Education, experience and skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, or a related scientific field.
  • Strong knowledge of biomanufacturing processes, process optimisation, and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Significant experience in engineering and/or automation and/or operation and/or manufacturing science and technology.
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical challenges and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and French.
