As a fast-growing producer of pea protein and pea starch in Belgium, we are looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Manager to strengthen our team and help us build excellence in food safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

As Quality Assurance & Control Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our quality management system while ensuring our products consistently meet the highest standards.

You will:

✅ Manage and improve our FSSC 22000-certified quality system

✅ Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across the organization

✅ Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards

✅ Manage audits from certification bodies, customers, and authorities

✅ Analyze quality data, complaints, non-conformities, and implement corrective actions

✅ Lead continuous improvement projects related to quality and food safety

✅ Collaborate closely with production, operations, R&D, supply chain, and commercial teams

✅ Drive a strong quality culture throughout the organization

✅ Support customer requests, specifications, and documentation

✔ Master's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Bioengineering, Quality Management, or a related field

✔ At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety within the food or ingredient industry

✔ Thorough knowledge of food safety management systems (FSSC 22000 & HACCP)

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

✔ Hands-on mentality and willingness to work in a growing scale-up environment

✔ Fluent in French and English
