Senior GL Accountant - Oracle Netsuite

An international company is looking for an experienced Accountant with good knowledge of Oracle Netsuite to join their Accounting and finance team.

The company is looking for an experienced Accountant with strong knowledge of record-to-report areas to deliver accounting, month-end closing and work on tasks including preparing for Audit and improving processes. The company is live with Oracle Netsuite as their core financial system and ERP, and are looking for someone with experience using Netsuite and good accounting experience (e.g 3-5 years) and knowledge of Belgian GAAP and ideally IFRS.

Your role:

• Financial Accounting according to Belgian GAAP / IFRS
• Accounting in Netsuite
• Delivering month end / Year end closing activities
• Preparation for Audit
• Liaising with internal and external accounting and tax consultants and and Audit teams
• GL Accounting as well as supporting improvements such as data cleansing and process improvement, AP and AR areas
• Reviewing and validating bookkeeping entries and transactions
• Preparing financial statements / management reports and supporting controlling

Your experience:

• Senior Accountant with 3-5 years' experience
• Good knowledge of accounting standards, ideally Belgian GAAP and IFRS
• Prior Experience using Oracle Netsuite ERP
• Strong communication skills in English and ideally either French or Dutch/Flemish
