Application Architect

h3Function /h3 pWe're looking for an experienced Application Architect to join our client's team and contribute to the evolution and modernization of critical enterprise applications. You'll work closely with existing architecture and development teams on application evolution, performance, observability and scalability, while ensuring that solutions remain aligned with established architecture and security standards. /p pThe role combines hands-on architectural work with technical guidance. You'll follow application evolution from architecture and design through development and implementation, while supporting developers through technical reviews, coaching and design guidance where needed. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul lipContribute to the architecture and evolution of high-volume enterprise applications and document service platforms. /p /li lipHelp improve application performance, scalability, observability and monitoring in preparation for increasing system loads. /p /li lipDefine and maintain application architecture in line with enterprise standards and security principles. /p /li lipAnalyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into sustainable architectural solutions. /p /li lipPrepare, coordinate and follow up development activities and technical work packages. /p /li lipReview technical designs and implementations and provide guidance to development teams. /p /li lipSupport developers through technical coaching, architecture reviews and the application of appropriate design patterns. /p /li lipEnsure consistency between different applications, integrations and technical components. /p /li lipContribute to application maintenance, migrations and technical modernization initiatives. /p /li lipPromote secure and maintainable solutions, with particular attention to IAM, API security and modern authentication standards. /p /li /ul h3Technical Profile /h3 pYou have solid experience as an Application Architect and a strong background in Java-based enterprise application development. /p pKey expertise includes: /p ul lipStrong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot. /p /li lipExperience with Angular and JavaScript. /p /li lipStrong understanding of application architecture and design patterns. /p /li lipExperience designing and developing Web APIs, including REST and SOAP. /p /li lipGood knowledge of SQL and relational databases. /p /li lipStrong understanding of IAM and authentication technologies such as OAuth, OpenID Connect and Keycloak. /p /li lipKnowledge of application security principles, including OWASP. /p /li lipExperience with containerized environments such as Docker, Kubernetes and/or OpenShift. /p /li lipFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery environments. /p /li lipAbility to translate complex technical requirements into robust, scalable and maintainable architectures. /p /li /ul h3Profile /h3 pYou are a pragmatic and technically strong architect who enjoys working at the intersection of architecture and development. You can take ownership of architectural topics while remaining sufficiently close to the technology to understand implementation challenges and provide meaningful guidance to development teams. /p pYou communicate clearly with architects, developers and other stakeholders and are comfortable working in a complex enterprise environment.
