This role involves engaging in the entire development cycle for a national project focused on border control applications. /p h3Project Details: /h3 pThe project involves the BorderTask ecosystem, which includes applications for various modes of transport and border control processes. The applications handle sensitive biometric and alphanumeric data, ensuring compliance with European regulations while providing direct impact on operational efficiency. /p h3Responsibilities: /h3 ul liDesign, develop, test, and maintain web applications. /li liHandle development across the entire stack, from backend to frontend. /li liDevelop and integrate REST APIs. /li liUnderstand and evolve existing legacy codebases. /li liParticipate in securing and modernizing the application. /li liRestructure code to improve maintainability and separation of concerns. /li liEngage in technical analysis and problem-solving. /li liEnsure code quality, stability, and security. /li liParticipate in code reviews and testing. /li liDocument development work. /li liCollaborate with developers, analysts, and other project partners. /li /ul pThe applications are actively used by law enforcement at border checkpoints, providing immediate feedback on functionality and user experience. /p h3Profile

Requirements:
/h3 ul liStrong expertise in PHP. /li liGood command of modern JavaScript. /li liExperience with at least one modern PHP framework, preferably Laravel or Symfony. /li liExperience with at least one modern JavaScript framework, with Vue.js being an advantage. /li liAbility to work autonomously on both backend and frontend. /li liProficiency in SQL, REST APIs, and Git. /li liComfortable with maintaining and evolving legacy code in production. /li liExperience in developing complex applications in production. /li liAbility to identify and rectify security issues in existing codebases. /li liKnowledge of best development practices: architecture, code quality, security, testing, error management, and maintainability. /li liCapable of analyzing complex technical problems and proposing suitable solutions. /li liQuickly adapt to existing codebases and become operational. /li /ul pNo prior experience with CodeIgniter, Smarty, AngularJS, or jQuery is required.
