Location: Mechelen, Belgium
Duration: 6 months + potential extension
Daily Rate: 750 - 965€
Language: English; Dutch or French advantageous
We are currently looking for an experienced SAP SCM Consultant to join a long-term SAP transformation programme with a large organisation based in the Mechelen region.
The organisation operates a complex supply chain supporting large-scale technical and service-led operations and is continuing to develop and modernise its SAP landscape.
The Role The role will have a strong focus on SAP MM and end-to-end materials and supply chain processes, working closely with procurement, logistics and other SAP teams.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
Configure and optimise SAP MM processes
Support procurement, purchasing and inventory-management processes
Analyse existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement
Gather requirements from procurement, logistics and supply chain stakeholders
Translate business requirements into functional SAP solutions
Support integration between SAP MM and other logistics modules
Produce functional specifications and contribute to solution design
Support testing, UAT, implementation and go-live activities
Troubleshoot functional issues and support ongoing enhancements
Contribute to the wider SAP transformation programme
Your Experience We Are Looking For Consultants With
Strong functional experience with SAP MM
Good understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory and materials-management processes
Hands-on SAP configuration experience
Experience across end-to-end supply chain processes
Previous SAP implementation, rollout or transformation experience
Good understanding of integration between SAP logistics modules
Experience working directly with business stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Experience with
SAP S/4HANA
would be highly beneficial.
Additional experience across SAP SD, EWM, WM, PP or other SCM modules would also be advantageous, but is not essential.
Professional English is required, with Dutch and/or French beneficial.
This is a long-term freelance opportunity within a large SAP environment, with potential for extension as the wider transformation programme progresses.
