Senior Product Owner, Banking Marketing

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to support a Marketing & Communication squad focused on professional banking clients.
Responsibilities:
- Capture stakeholder needs and translate the annual Marketing & Communication plan into a structured squad backlog.
- Prioritize backlog items according to customer needs, strategic objectives, commercial priorities, resources and deadlines.
- Ensure objectives and expected outcomes are clear and stable before initiatives begin.
- Monitor backlog delivery, progress, team performance and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate results and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, strategists, IT teams and other stakeholders on strategic projects.
- Act as a change agent and help strengthen Agile ways of working at squad and cluster levels.
- Represent the squad in governance meetings and provide strategic direction through servant leadership.
Must-have requirements:
- At least 6 years of relevant Product Owner experience.
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree.
- Strong knowledge of professional banking clients, banking products or related business lines.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with IT teams, ideally application development teams.
- Proven experience in change management and complex stakeholder management.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical, prioritization, negotiation and communication skills.
- Professional proficiency in Dutch and French, with sound English proficiency.
