A leading international engineering and construction organisation is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to support the delivery of large-scale, complex construction projects in Belgium.
This is a senior, site-based role offering the opportunity to influence safety culture, provide strategic EHS leadership, and work closely with clients and project leadership teams in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
You will be responsible for the governance, leadership and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health & Safety performance across assigned projects. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on engagement to ensure the highest standards of compliance, assurance and behavioural safety.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and implement project-specific construction phase EHS programmesEnsure compliance with local legislation, client requirements and internal standardsDrive behavioural safety initiatives and continuous improvementManage audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actionsProduce EHS performance reports, dashboards and trend analysisAct as the primary EHS interface with clients, contractors and senior stakeholders xdkqlui Requirements5+ years’ experience in a dedicated EHS role within construction or industrial environmentsNEBOSH or equivalent recognised health & safety qualificationStrong working knowledge of EHS legislation and management systemsProven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levelsFluent in English (Dutch or French highly advantageous)Comfortable operating in a dynamic, site-based project environment
