ppA multinational defence organisation is putting its data governance on a proper footing. This is the role that runs it week by week: the board, the packages that go to it, the decisions that come out of it, and the indicators that show whether any of it is working. /p h3What You Would Be Doing /h3 ul liChairing the weekly data governance board — planning it, running it, and closing it with clear decisions, actions and named owners. /li liPreparing the submission packages that go to that board, and confirming each one is complete and mature enough to be decided on rather than deferred. /li liRecording proceedings properly: decisions, actions, owners and deadlines, distributed to the people they bind and stored where they stay traceable. /li liTracking and reporting data governance indicators and data quality measures every week, and naming the performance gaps and their root causes rather than the numbers alone. /li liChecking that the mandatory governance artefacts are actually collected against the board's terms of reference, and reporting what is missing or out of date. /li liSupervising the working group that prepares decision and recommendation packages, so what reaches the board has already been worked. /li liProposing and tracking the corrective and improvement actions that follow from all of it. /li /ul h3What you would bring /h3 ul liData governance in practice, not in theory: running boards, owning artefacts, chasing owners and keeping a register that people trust. /li liChairing meetings where technical and non-technical stakeholders have to reach a decision. /li liDefining and reporting data quality and governance indicators, and turning them into actions somebody is accountable for. /li liData source onboarding — the procedures, the evidence, the sequence in which it has to happen. /li liWriting that holds up as a record: minutes, recommendations, submission packages. /li liFluent professional English. /li /ul /p
