ph3Freelance Data Engineer / BI Developer /h3 h3About the Opportunity /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced Freelance Data Engineer / BI Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of our business intelligence platform. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of BI professionals to build scalable data solutions that enable informed business decisions across multiple business domains. /p pThis is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with modern Microsoft technologies, transforming complex data into meaningful insights, and collaborating closely with both technical and business stakeholders. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data models using dimensional modeling techniques, including star schema methodologies. /li liBuild, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. /li liDevelop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver valuable business insights to a range of stakeholders. /li liIntegrate data from multiple source systems into a reliable and high‑performing data warehouse environment. /li liWork closely with business analysts, controllers, and other stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions. /li liSupport self‑service BI initiatives by assisting colleagues in developing and maintaining their own Power BI reports. /li liContinuously improve existing BI solutions by enhancing performance, data quality, security, and scalability. /li liContribute to Agile delivery processes and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience). /li liPrevious experience delivering Business Intelligence or Data Engineering solutions. /li liStrong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and Kimball methodologies. /li liHands‑on experience with: /li liMicrosoft Power BI /li liAzure Data Platform /li liAzure Databricks /li liSQL /li liExperience with Python, notebooks, Azure services, Jira, and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) is considered a strong advantage. /li liA proactive problem‑solver with excellent analytical and communication skills. /li liComfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with technical and business teams. /li liPassionate about staying current with emerging technologies within the Microsoft data ecosystem. /li /ul h3Contract Details /h3 ul liFreelance contract. /li liHybrid working arrangement with flexibility for remote work. /li liLong-term project with the possibility of extension. /li liOpportunity to work on modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise-scale BI solutions. /li liCollaborative, international environment focused on innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. /li /ul pIf you're a freelance Data Engineer or BI Developer who enjoys designing robust data solutions and building impactful reporting platforms, we'd love to hear from you. /p /p
