About the Role


As a Certification & Regulatory Compliance Engineer, you ensure that products, systems, and solutions meet applicable regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. You act as the link between project teams and external certification or regulatory authorities, supporting compliance activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Working in a multidisciplinary and highly regulated environment, you contribute to certification strategies, manage compliance documentation, support audits, and help secure the approvals required for market entry or operational deployment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the definition and execution of certification and regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Coordinate relationships with external assessment, certification, and regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain certification plans, compliance documentation, and technical evidence.
  • Support internal and external audits, assessments, and approval activities.
  • Track and drive the resolution of certification findings, non-conformities, and compliance gaps.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Validation, and Project Management teams to ensure compliance requirements are properly addressed.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on projects and processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance, certification, and quality processes.


Profile


  • Master's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Business Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in certification, compliance, systems engineering, validation, quality assurance, or safety engineering within a regulated industry.
  • Experience interacting with external certification, assessment, or regulatory bodies.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, standards, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in multidisciplinary environments.
  • Fluent in English.


Nice to Have


  • Experience in transportation, aerospace, energy, medical devices, industrial automation, or other safety-critical industries.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry-specific standards.
  • Familiarity with safety, risk management, verification & validation, or authorization processes.
