Construction Engineer

Our client is an established company active in the development of technical solutions for the construction sector. As part of their growth, they are looking for a Construction Engineer to join their team.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be involved in the design, development and optimisation of structural solutions for construction projects. You will manage projects from the definition of technical needs through to implementation, while coordinating the different stakeholders involved.
- Manage technical projects from initial requirements to final delivery
- Analyse and dimension structural systems in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
- Develop and optimise technical solutions with a focus on performance, reliability and cost
- Carry out or supervise structural calculations and numerical simulations
- Define calculation and validation approaches and contribute to testing activities when required
- Analyse results and provide technical recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, partners and other external stakeholders
- Keep up to date with developments in construction standards, technologies and engineering practices
Profile
- You hold a Master's or Engineering degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering, a design office or a similar technical environment
- You have a strong knowledge of structural mechanics, steel structures and Eurocodes
- You are experienced with structural calculation software such as SCIA Engineer or equivalent
- Knowledge of finite element analysis is an advantage
- You are comfortable managing several technical projects simultaneously
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You are comfortable working in English at B2 level or above; French is an asset
