pOctave provides smart and flexible energy solutions, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) for businesses to store solar energy, reduce peak consumption, and balance the electricity grid. /ppJoin Octave as an IoT/Cloud Ops Engineer to maintain AWS infrastructure, manage IoT device pipelines, support security setups, and enable observability for the energy management platform. /ph3Job Description /h3pOctave is a cleantech scale-up on a mission to deploy cutting-edge energy management and storage solutions. We are looking for an bIoT/Cloud Ops Engineer /b to join our team, to help build and scale our energy management platform. /ppYou will ensure that thousands of distributed devices remain healthy, secure, and up-to-date, while enabling the business to operate smoothly at scale. /ppbYour role: /b /pulliMaintain shared bAWS infrastructure /b /liliOwn delivery pipelines of Octave’s bfleet of bare metal IoT devices /b /liliSupport domain teams when setting up bsecurity /b, build pipelines, infrastructure as code and other cross-concern aspects /liliEnable bobservability /b across our numerous tech stacks /li /ulpbWhat we are looking for: /b /pulliExpertise in bDevOps automation and AWS infrastructure, /b with a proven track record of results in production /liliStrong knowledge of bLinux system administration and IT networking /b /liliGood knowledge of software bsecurity principles /b /liliExperience with Python and CI/CD /lilibOwnership and hands-on mindset /b: ability to work independently, take initiative and deliver stable results in production /liliKnowledge of bindustrial data protocols /b such as Modbus and RS485. /liliInterest in benergy management or cleantech /b. /li /ulpbWhat
