The group's staff is multilingual and multinational with in-depth experience in the delivery of services to the government sector worldwide. /ppCurrently we are looking for a bSenior PHP (Symphony) developer /b to join the team as a long-term bContractor (B2B) / Freelancer /b. /ppbBased in Brussels, Belgium. /b /ph3Tasks /h3ulliBuild and maintain robust back-end services and dynamic web applications using PHP (Symfony) and other modern MVC frameworks. /liliTake ownership of the full development lifecycle
- from technical analysis and design to testing, documentation, and deployment
- while ensuring front-end applications meet W3C standards. /liliWrite clean, reliable, and thoroughly tested code by applying best practices and a methodical approach. /liliPlay an active role in shaping and evolving our technical architecture to support future growth and innovation. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliAt least 15 years of professional experience in the IT sector /liliA university degree in IT or a related field /liliDeep hands-on expertise with PHP Symfony framework. /liliSolid background in using MVC-compliant frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript/Angular, Node.js), ideally within service-oriented architectures /liliStrong knowledge of modern web technologies across data and middle-tier layers. /liliProficiency in HTML5, CSS, Angular, and Bootstrap for building responsive, user-friendly interfaces /liliExperience working with XML and JSON/REST for managing data flows. /liliStrong understanding of Oracle RDBMS. /liliFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as Jira, Git, and Bamboo. /liliExperience with AngularJS is a significant plus. /liliExposure to text-mining operations is considered an asset. /liliExcellent command of English, both written and spoken. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3ullibImpactful Work /b
