PeopleSoft Technical Leader

h3About the Role /h3 pWe are looking for an experienced bPeopleSoft Technical Leader /b to lead the technical evolution, stability, and continuous improvement of our PeopleSoft Finance Procurement platform. This role combines deep technical expertise, solution leadership, architecture oversight, coaching, and stakeholder engagement. /p pAs the technical authority for the platform, you will guide engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions while promoting a "standard first" mindset. You will drive lifecycle management initiatives, reduce technical debt, enable adoption of new PeopleSoft capabilities, and ensure the platform remains fit for the future. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Technical Leadership /h3 ul liAct as the technical reference for PeopleSoft FSCM, PeopleTools, Oracle technologies, integrations, and development frameworks. /li liDefine and enforce engineering standards, coding guidelines, and solution design principles. /li liReview and challenge technical designs to ensure maintainability, scalability, and alignment with enterprise architecture. /li /ul h3Solution Design Delivery /h3 ul liLead the design and implementation of complex PeopleSoft solutions across Finance and Procurement domains. /li liEnsure business requirements are fulfilled through delivered functionality whenever possible before considering customization. /li liProvide architectural guidance for integrations, workflow automation, reporting, and data exchange solutions. /li liSupport critical project deliveries and production issue resolution. /li /ul h3Continuous Improvement Innovation /h3 ul liPromote simplification, automation, and standardization across the PeopleSoft landscape. /li liIdentify opportunities to replace custom developments with delivered functionality. /li liDrive adoption of new PeopleTools features, PUM images, and Oracle technologies. /li /ul h3Lifecycle Management /h3 ul liLead PeopleTools upgrades, PUM implementations, security patching, and platform modernization activities. /li liEnsure solutions remain aligned with Oracle best practices and vendor roadmaps. /li liDrive technical debt reduction and improve upgrade readiness. /li liSupport environment standardization and deployment automation. /li /ul h3Platform Stability Operational Excellence /h3 ul liEnsure platform availability, performance, security, and resilience. /li liGuide incident investigation, root cause analysis, and problem management activities. /li liCollaborate with platform engineers to improve monitoring, observability, and operational processes. /li liMaintain compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements. /li /ul h3Coaching Team Development /h3 ul liMentor developers, technical analysts, and platform engineers. /li liFoster a culture of engineering excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning. /li liSupport onboarding and professional development of team members. /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul li8+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience. /li liStrong expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.61. /li liExtensive experience with: ul liPeopleCode /li liApplication Engine /li liComponent Interface /li /ul /li liStrong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills. /li liExperience with PeopleSoft upgrades, PUM adoption, and lifecycle management. /li liProven experience leading technical teams and complex delivery initiatives. /li liExperience working in Agile and DevOps environments. /li /ul h3Preferred Experience /h3 ul liBanking or Financial Services industry experience. /li liKnowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Expense Management, and Billing processes. /li liExperience with cloud and CI/CD technologies. /li /ul h3What Makes You Successful /h3 ul liHave a strong ownership mindset and lead by example. /li liChallenge complexity and promote sustainable solutions. /li liBalance business value with technical excellence. /li liCommunicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liContinuously learn and stay abreast of PeopleSoft, Oracle, and ERP innovations. /li liInspire teams to deliver high-quality solutions while maintaining operational stability. /li liFoster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. /li /ul
