Our focus extends to markets such as new mobility, low-carbon construction, and green energy. /p pAs a dynamic and growing company with over 19 000 employees worldwide, 75 nationalities, a retention rate above 90% and € 3,7 billion in combined revenue in 2025, we are looking for someone like you to join our team as we continue to shape a safer, more efficient, and connected world /p h3About the role /h3 pAs HR Legal Advisor Total Rewards Manager Belgium, you will provide expert legal advice on employment and labour law matters while managing the compensation and benefits programs for Bekaert in Belgium, covering nine locations. /p h3Key Activities and Responsibilities /h3 pbEmployment Labour Law /b /p ul liProvide legal support to HR Business Partners and the HR Service Center on individual and collective employment and labour law matters, in collaboration with external legal advisors where appropriate. /li liMaintain expertise in Belgian collective labour agreements, work rules, policies, regulations and other relevant employment legislation. /li liAdvise on and contribute to the drafting of collective labour agreements, internal policies and guidelines. /li liParticipate in discussions and negotiations with management and trade unions, providing legal guidance throughout the process. /li liRepresent Bekaert in relevant sectoral committees and working groups on legal matters. /li liStay up to date with developments in Belgian legislation, case law and best practices, and translate these into clear and practical advice for senior leadership. /li /ul pbTotal Rewards Management /b /p ul liOwn and manage the job grading model and related processes for blue-collar, white-collar and management employees in Belgium. /li liManage key compensation processes in Belgium, including the annual merit increase and variable pay programs. /li liOversee employee benefit programs, including medical insurance, company car policy, pension plans and bike leasing, in close collaboration with external partners, HR Business Partners and the HR Service Center. /li /ul pbProjects /b /p ul liLead projects to translate national legislation and regulatory developments into pragmatic and compliant policies and guidelines, including areas such as pay transparency, mobility budget and social elections. /li liReview and further integrate compensation and benefits policies at both legal entity and Belgium level. /li /ul h3About you /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, preferably with a specialisation in employment or labour law, or a related field. /li liSeveral years of experience as a legal advisor in Belgium within an international industrial environment is essential.
