pHello everyone We are currently looking for a Back-end Software Engineer to join our team. /p h3About us /h3 pWe are an IT Consulting Group providing innovative digital solutions across Europe. /p pLearn more: /p h3The project /h3 pJoin an international project supporting. /p pYou will design, develop and maintain scalable back-end services and business logic, developing APIs and data-storage solutions while integrating front-end elements with server-side logic. The role involves implementing authentication, secure coding, logging and monitoring, as well as performing unit/integration testing and CI/CD integration to troubleshoot and optimise performance for this high-impact platform. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liUniversity degree equivalent to EQF Level 7 (Master's degree or equivalent to five years of higher education). /li liMinimum 15 years of professional IT experience. /li liEnglish B2 or higher, both written and spoken. /li li10+ years of experience in Java application design and development, including I/O, concurrency, localisation and modern Java features. /li li10+ years of combined experience with MariaDB and MySQL. /li li10+ years of experience with JPA/Hibernate. /li li10+ years of experience with RESTful API development and service integration. /li li5+ years of experience with Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Cassandra and Redis. /li liStrong knowledge of production-grade Spring and Spring Boot development. /li liExperience with Kafka messaging middleware and Microservices architecture. /li liExpertise in processing Big Data in Parquet format. /li liProven experience in scalable architectures for large media-data processing, analytics, data pipelines and interactive dashboards/visualisation. /li liKnowledge of Cloud back-end basics (serverless functions, storage accounts and managed Kubernetes). /li liSolid understanding of security, CI/CD, testing and monitoring. /li /ul h3What
