pOur client is seeking an experienced software architecture professional to guide the modernization of complex applications. You will define architectural direction, support the transition from legacy environments to cloud-native SaaS solutions, and connect development, cloud engineering, DevOps, and database expertise. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDefine architectural principles, guidelines, and solution designs for new and existing software initiatives in close collaboration with development teams. /li liStreamline and modernize existing applications, supporting their migration to Azure-based SaaS models using technologies such as Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Container Apps. /li liConduct in-depth technical analyses for complex challenges, including centralized configuration management, identity and access management integrations, and connectivity between on-premises installations and cloud services. /li liCoordinate technical implementations across development, cloud and DevOps, and database teams. /li liMonitor technology developments and industry best practices, assess their relevance to the organization, and recommend efficient approaches. /li liTake ownership of architectural decisions while coaching and inspiring colleagues. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liStrong experience with Java and Spring Boot. /li liKnowledge of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and Angular. /li liExperience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, Key Vault, Service Bus, and API Management. /li liFamiliarity with Kafka and GitHub Actions. /li liUnderstanding of IAM standards and protocols, including OIDC and OAuth 2.0. /li liExperience integrating on-premises applications with cloud services. /li liKnowledge of COBOL and ISAM environments is a strong advantage. /li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liExtensive software development experience, including hands-on engineering and the design of complex system architectures. /li liStrong analytical skills and the ability to convert complex technical topics into clear recommendations. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills when working with developers and other stakeholders. /li liA proactive, hands-on mindset with the confidence to lead technical discussions and take ownership. /li liExperience refactoring legacy applications and transforming them into modular, layered architectures is highly valued. /li liWillingness to deepen your knowledge across the broader technology stack where required. /li /ul h3Practical Information /h3 ul liFluent in Dutch. /li liFluent in English. /li liThis is a long-term consulting opportunity. /li /ul h3Contactperson Reference /h3 ul liReference #: INCA28385 /li liJeroen Van Hoecke /li /ul
