We're supporting a leading technology organisation in Brussels that is investing heavily in a new AI Innovation Lab focused on building next-generation AI products, intelligent automation solutions, and enterprise-scale GenAI capabilities.
This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of AI, helping shape and deploy real-world solutions using the latest advancements in Large Language Models and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs, and GenAI technologies
- Build and optimise RAG pipelines leveraging vector databases and semantic search
- Develop APIs and backend services to integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and Product teams to take AI solutions from prototype to production
- Fine-tune, evaluate, and improve LLM performance, accuracy, and reliability
- Implement prompt engineering, model orchestration, and AI governance best practices
- Contribute to the evolution of the client's AI Innovation Lab and help shape future AI initiatives
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Scientist, or Software Engineer with AI exposure
- Strong development experience with Python
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and RAG architectures
- Experience working with SQL and large-scale datasets
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration
- Experience building APIs and deploying solutions into production environments
- Exposure to frameworks such as LangChain, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, LangGraph, or similar is desirable
- Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams
