pOur client, a prominent research organization focused on environmental data, is looking for a specialist to support advanced earth observation systems. The role involves managing scalable cloud platforms and big data analytics infrastructures to process vast datasets from satellite and airborne sources. /p ul liSupport DevOps and project-specific requirements within complex cloud environments. /li liMaintain and take responsibility for the operational infrastructure alongside the engineering team. /li liResolve configuration and infrastructure-as-code tickets for internal projects. /li liDeploy and support new components within the software stack and public cloud environments. /li liAnalyze complex system issues using monitoring, logging, and metrics to propose efficiency improvements. /li liImplement security best practices throughout the infrastructure. /li liCollaborate with IT architects and engineers to optimize software stack components. /li /ul ul liYou have a Master’s degree in applied IT, Industrial Sciences, or an equivalent technical field. /li liYou possess 5+ years of experience with cloud applications on platforms such as bAWS /b, bAzure /b, or bGoogle Cloud Platform /b. /li liYou bring experience in bKubernetes /b environments and proficiency in writing bHelm /b charts. /li liYou have experience with CI/CD, configuration, and automation frameworks including bTerraform /b, bArgoCD /b, bJenkins /b, and bPacker /b. /li liYou possess experience in bLinux /b native environments such as bCentOS /b, bRedHat /b, or bAlma Linux /b. /li liYou have knowledge of bcybersecurity /b best practices for cloud environments and general bICT infrastructure /b solutions. /li liYou bring experience with virtualization technologies such as bDocker /b, bVMware /b, or bOpenStack /b and have participated in migration trajectories. /li liYou have experience working in bAgile /b or bDevOps /b environments. /li liYou are proactive, service-minded, and possess strong analytical skills. /li liYou are Native in bDutch /b with a fluent command of bEnglish /b. /li /ul h3Nice to Haves /h3 ul liExperience with distributed processing tools like bApache Spark /b or bDask /b. /li liKnowledge of bPython /b or bGolang /b. /li liAbility to take ownership of specific software stack components. /li /ul ul libStart date: /b 01/11/2026. /li libDuration: /b 6 months. /li libWork regime: /b Full-time. /li libLocation: /b Mol. /li libWorking model: /b Hybrid. /li libContract: /b Open to both permanent employees and freelancers. /li /ul
