Hoe maak jij mee het verschil?

Als Junior engineer zorg je mee voor perfect onderhouden treinen voor onze reizigers. Jouw reis bij NMBS start met een trainee programma. Je krijgt de mogelijkheid om projecten op te zetten om het onderhoud en de modernisering van de treinstellen te optimaliseren en, op termijn, te evolueren naar een leidinggevende rol.

Wat is jouw rol bij NMBS ?

In de Centrale Werkplaats in Mechelen worden treinstellen periodiek, preventief en curatief onderhouden. Je krijgt de kans om kennis te maken met de productieafdeling en met de projectteams. Zo krijg je een idee welke omgeving en takenpakket het best aansluit bij jouw profiel en ambities.

De verschillende afdelingen die instaan voor een deel van het treinonderhoud noemen we productieafdelingen. Als Junior productie ingenieur:

Je leert het onderhoudsproces kennen en je werkt je in het technisch onderhoud zodat je je team ook op technisch vlak kan bijstaan.  Je gaat op zoek naar verbeteringen in het proces, voornamelijk op vlak van kwaliteit, kostprijs en timing. Je zal deze ook (helpen) implementeren.  Je zorgt ervoor dat je team meegroeit met de technologische evoluties. 


Als Junior projectingenieur: 

Je zet nieuwe projecten op voor rollend materieel, logistiek of de herstelling van wisselstukken. Je bent het aanspreekpunt voor jouw projecten voor collega’s en management.

Waarom is deze job iets voor jou ?

Je behaalde recent een masterdiploma in industriële wetenschappen of ingenieurswetenschappen. Ook van laatstejaarsstudenten horen we graag 


Daarnaast: 

Je hebt een goede kennis van mechanica en elektriciteit. Je bent bereid continu bij te leren over de nieuwste treintechniek.  Je kan werken met MS Office.  Je hebt een strategische blik die je toelaat processen te structureren en een visie te ontwikkelen.  Je wilt, op termijn, mensen aansturen en motiveren.  Je communiceert vlot en durft initiatieven opstarten.  Je bent flexibel ingesteld om projecten tot een goed einde te brengen.  Het is een pluspunt als je Frans spreekt.
