**Role Title: Product Manager Web and Portal**

**Mission and Context**

As a Product Manager Web and Portal, you are responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancements of the Etex brands websites and customer portals.

You are the interface between the commercial-digital BPO (Business Process Owner) organization and IT.

In this function, you understand the challenges of the business and offer proactive IT supported solutions to increase the business output.

You partner with the business to develop the Product roadmaps that allow to forecast and manage IT demands and monitor the implementation.

As a Product Manager Web and Portal you will be part of the global Application Team working together with the Application Engineers and the Solution Architects in the same domain. You will have multiple interactions with the business giving you the opportunity to build knowledge about the Etex business processes

He or she partners with the business to develop the IT demands and will monitor the implementation.

Hence, he or she needs to be a strong communicator and ensures good collaboration with different stakeholders. Ideally, he or she is as well skilled in Project Management.

The Product Manager Web and Portal has a data driven mindset, allowing to take objective decisions.

**Reporting line **Digital Delivery & IT Commercial Manager

**Key responsibilities**

**Product Ownership**
- Takes the lead in defining a roadmap, development plan and execution of the assigned product.
- Gathers and evaluates business demands in alignment with the demand side (business), to understand the requirements and impacts on the current state of the product.
- Mobilizes and manages one or more product teams
- Identifies optimization in a product lifecycle by understanding how the product will add value to the business and how it will be used
- Collaborates with the development/delivery teams that support and evolve the product. Aligns future solutions together with SME, project manager, solution architect and service manager.
- Ensures the needed documentation (Technical, functional and end user) is available and accessible for every target group, in close collaboration with the Key/Super User community
- End-to-End responsible of the lifecycle of the product within Etex IT (Project / changes and transition to operations, decommissioning.)
- Keep product knowledge up to date (market evolution).
- Initiates and participates on CAB meetings and conduct stakeholder communication and adoption of the product(s)

**Subject Matter Expert**
- Functions as the organizational ambassador for the knowledge area.
- Applies expertise to support an organization’s vision and strategic direction.
- Understands, articulates and implements best practices related to his area of expertise.
- Provides guidance on an area of capability that can solve an organizational need.
- Participates actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Supports the definition of processes and policies and communicates the contexts in which the rules, processes and polices are applied.
- Validates the requirements and deliverables that describe the product or service the service provider will produce.
- Provides input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may also validate executed test results.
- Provides input into and executes user documentation and training material and assures high quality standards.
- Resolves issues relevant to project or service deliverables within their area of expertise.

**Project Management**

Have the E2E responsibility over an IT project.
- Applies appropriate project management standards provided by IT Governance
- Communicates and aligns with affected stakeholders
- Identifies and obtains support and advice required for the management, planning and control of the project
- Establishes project plan and initiates project mobilization by confirming project scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities
- Applies appropriate technical and quality strategies and standards
- Owns and maintains projects and resource forecast
- Connects with program management (if the project is part of a program) and related projects to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated
- Maintains an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
- Manages project risks, including the development of contingency plans and initiates corrective actions
- Monitors overall progress & use of resources and controls execution of project though analysis, design, build, test and deploy
