The Digital User Experience Manager will be part of the Global Digital team, based in Belgium, and reporting into the Global Head of User Experience.
In this time of disruption and change, Etex is moving fast to keep up with customer needs, market trends, to accelerate and remain differentiating and ahead of the competition. New ideas to improve our customer engagement and customer experience are increasing rapidly.
He/she will lead the team of UX/UI designers to go from concept to wireframes to final designs. Once ready and validated he will work with the development team to ensure the success of the implementation.
The Digital Experience Manager will also work very closely with
- Other user experience managers, who focus on other product platforms.
- Local marketing leaders, in workshops to ideate and create something out of nothing.
- Experts in the group digital marketing & ecommerce team, IT, external vendors, business stakeholders and customers.
**Roles and responsibilities**
**Project management**
As Digital Experience Manager you will take the lead and manage digital UX & development projects (web, mobile, apps). You are responsible for the full project lifecycle, from ideation to the launch of a first pilot. You are the main contact for the project and are the key link between the user, the business, and the development team.
During a project you will be responsible for:
- Proposing and executing the project plan and align with all involved parties (business, UX designers, development team, senior management ).
- Identifying and writing high-level requirements of new features that are planned for development
- Guiding the team of UX & UI designers when designing new features
- Ensuring user feedback & data is considered during the decision making and design process.
- Involving relevant digital experts (eg. analytics, marketing automation etc.) during the project lifecycle.
- Launching the pilot in close collaboration with the business, the IT team and the rollout team.
- Working closely together with the rollout team, so the new feature can be launched on a global scale after launching the pilot.
**User Experience Management**
- Bring your digital expertise to the table and guide our UX designers to ensure our digital products and services have a globally consistent and well-designed user experience.
- Get a good understanding of user needs by regularly looking into analytics and doing user research/user tests.
- Measure the impact of digital initiatives and projects on our user’s satisfaction and business KPI’s.
- Proactively look for UX enhancements on our digital products and services and make sure they get implemented.
**Digital roadmap**
- You will work closely with key stakeholders on defining the digital strategy, roadmap and development based on customer experience journeys, market needs, competition and group directions. New demands for development will be managed and planned in by the Digital User Experience Manager.
**Stakeholder management**
- You are the key sparring partner of the business platform (marketing & senior management) when it comes to improving digital user experience of our digital products and services worldwide. You will keep stakeholders informed about the progress of initiatives by providing regular status updates. This will ensure that they are aware of what is happening and that they have the latest information about ongoing efforts.
**Profile**
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in marketing, digital, business or relevant fields
- At least 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or user experience management, preferably in an international context
- Customer/user focus and agile mindset, deliver customer-centric solutions that drive business value and/or efficiencies.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
- Curious and entrepreneurial mindset, you appreciate to be in contact with a lot of different people and take initiative.
- Data driven with a focus on quality and attention for detail. Experience with UX research is a plus.
- Organized and well-structured, allowing you to manage projects with many moving parts.
- Sound knowledge of content management systems, digital design, user experience and web analytics
