Breaking news: we plannen een uitbreiding van onze activiteiten op het vlak van 'Building and Construction Innovation'
De unit 'Smart Energy & Built Environment' binnen / faciliteert de energietransitie in de gebouwde omgeving, zowel door kennisdeling en beleidsadvies, als door technologieontwikkeling. We breiden onze activiteiten uit op het gebied van robottoepassingen voor de bouwsector, met inbegrip van bouwwerken in situ en de eindassemblage van geprefabriceerde bouwcomponenten in productie-eenheden.
In samenwerking met onze partners zal het onderzoek worden toegespitst op productinnovatie voor gebouwen met hoge energieprestaties, met name op innovatieve oplossingen voor de bouwschil (bv. slimme gevels). Het team richt zich op de assemblage van innovatieve subcomponenten tot componenten door de integratie van kennis over bouwfysica, bouwtechniek, energieopwekking en -opslag (bv. BIPV, PMC's), sensoren en actuatoren,... Het team richt zich niet op subcomponent materiaalonderzoek als zodanig.

Als senior onderzoeker ontwikkel je een visie voor de onderzoeksactiviteiten en bespreek/definieer je onderzoeksvragen op basis van een gedegen state-of-the-art overzicht. Je ontwikkelt een roadmap, in overleg met teamleden en EnergyVille partners, met een horizon van 5- jaar. Je bent het eerste aanspreekpunt (extern en intern) voor de activiteiten, zorgt voor zichtbaarheid van onze activiteiten en ontwikkelt concrete samenwerkingen. Je bent sterk betrokken bij de acquisitie van onderzoeksmiddelen en bouwt mee aan een projectportfolio rond deze onderzoeksactiviteiten. Je geeft richting aan de implementatie van de ontwikkelingen in lijn met de roadmap. Je bent betrokken bij onderzoeksprojecten maar ook coach/opvolger van projectteams en hun activiteiten.Meer info:
Profiel
Je behaalde een doctoraat in de toegepaste wetenschappen. Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een relevant domein (energie, bouwfysica, bouwtechniek / constructie van gebouwen). Je hebt ervaring met onderzoeksprogramma’s, zowel op het vlak van het werven als uitvoeren van projecten (bv. VLAIO, HEU, Interreg,…). Je hebt ervaring met toegepaste technologie ontwikkeling. Je bent een sterke communicator die teams kan motiveren in het realiseren van een gezamenlijke ambitie. Je beschikt over uitstekende netwerk-competenties. Je drukt je vlot uit in het Engels (mondeling en schriftelijk), kennis van het Nederlands is een toegevoegde waarde.Aanbod
