We are hiring for a temporary or external role as HR operations specialists to join our HR operations team at Hitachi Energy. This is a hybrid role, based in Zaventem with a focus on white collars for our Zaventem as well as Jumet, Charleroi office. This role includes work across multiple administration areas for established HR and rewards programs and reports to the HR Operations team lead at Benelux.
Your responsibilities
You will ensure timely and correct salary payments for white collars within our global payroll processes.
You will verify that the workday HR master data is correct, combine, and validate all the information needed for the white collar employee payroll each month.
Consolidating all absences, such as holidays and illness, with assisting and supporting managers in adhering to the HR Operations working model.
You will ensure all HR operations related questions are raised using this tool MyHR ServiceNow.
Ensuring appropriate onboarding of new hires and offboarding of leavers.
Checking the timely registration and communication of white collar employees specific benefits.
Good understanding of all HR operations processes with all stakeholder’s management and inform the direct manager if there are any deviations or exceptions.
HR employment issues include hiring and termination processes, labor law issues, contract renewals and dismissals, trainee programs, expatriates, control, or process of retirement, etc.
Personnel records maintenance such as job history, retirement, insurance documentation, leave accrual records along with that details of illness, absences, transfers, and salary progression, etc.
Statistical reporting to internal management of employee demographics, skills inventory, absenteeism, overtime, employee turnover, and external agencies for example government agencies, insurance companies, unions, etc.
Rewards program implementation and administration include compensation administration and employee benefits administration activities.

Your background
You have a minimum of 5 year’s experience in a similar role.
Experience working in a social secretariat is advantageous.
Experience working with PC 209 is a huge advantage.
Experience working with Workday is a plus.
You work independently, consult management when appropriate, and can communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.
Highly proficient, both written and spoken in Dutch, English, and French.
