Wat ga je doen?

Om een groot project in goede banen te leiden is onze klant op zoek naar een Trade compliance manager. Je zal instaan om de magazijnactiviteiten mee te verhuizen naar een 3PL magazijn.

Jouw voornaamste taken:

- Het adviseren van de business units en de totale organisatie over best practices en nieuwe mogelijkheden om risico's en/of kosten te beperken;
- Ervoor zorgen dat processen voor douane- of export controle activiteiten risico's en/of kosten beperken;
- Onderhoudt een goed begrip van wet- en regelgeving met betrekking tot import/export in de toegewezen regio en is verantwoordelijk voor naleving in de toegewezen regio;
- Biedt technische expertise met betrekking tot import/export wet- en regelgeving.
- Evalueert processen om mogelijkheden te identificeren voor het verminderen van risico's en/of kosten voor import-/exportactiviteiten in de toegewezen regio en ontwikkelt en implementeert proceswijzigingen om deze mogelijkheden te benutten;
- Adviseert het bedrijf om nieuwe kansen te benutten en op een conforme manier en tegen minimale kosten aan de huidige behoeften te voldoen;
- Fungeert als escalatiepunt voor complexe, niet-routinematige problemen; lost complexe problemen op;
- Controleert en presenteert managementrapporten over import-/exportactiviteiten;
- Geeft waar nodig trainingen over import/export onderwerpen;
- Onderhoudt en breidt sterke relaties uit met relevante overheidsorganisaties in landen die belangrijk zijn voor de activiteiten van de organisatie en met makelaars om ervoor te zorgen dat de organisatie beschikt over de juiste ondersteunende documentatie en consistent voldoet aan de import-/exportregelgeving.
- Geeft advies en aanwijzingen bij problemen en vraagstukken; delegeert werkopdrachten waarbij rekening wordt gehouden met de vaardigheden en ontwikkelingsbehoeften van werknemers.

Wie ben jij?
  • Je hebt een goed begrip van import en export compliance;
  • Je bent een sterke communicator;
  • Je spreekt en verstaat zeer goed Nederlands en engels;
  • Je hebt een sterk analytisch denk vermogen;
  • Kennis of ervaring met consignatieregelgeving is een plus;
  • Begrijpen van de wet- en regelgeving met betrekking tot douane- of exportcontroleregelingen wereldwijd.

Opleiding: HBO, universitair of gelijkwaardig diploma of gelijkwaardige ervaring vereist.

Vakkennis: Minstens 5 jaar ervaring.

Talenkennis: Nederlands en Engels.

Attesten: Voor deze functie kunnen vergunningen nodig zijn voor naleving van exportcontroles of sanctieregelgeving.
