Logistics Coordinator

The logistics coordinator role will be temporarily for 24months to support the Operations team in Gent.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a truly international environment, expand your knowledge and gain valuable insights into international trade, powersports industry environment, and challenging logistics and shipping processes.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DO:

•General administration, print and dispatch of documents such as COC, DOC, Electronic

COC …) related to finished units & follow up of dealer cases.

•Warehouse stock count administration and reporting.

•Extract data and submit environmental declarations (tires, packaging material & other).

•Reporting operational KPI’s.

•Communicating and coordinating relevant information between sales administration, the

warehouse and other departments (internal and external).

•Participating in different projects related to logistics, transportation, distribution, and packaging.

•Assisting your logistical team colleagues and providing backup when needed.

•Continuously look for ways to optimize the supply chain, streamline processes.

•Identify opportunities and communicate them to the team lead.

•Administrative follow up of invoice processing

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

•Fluent in English, with a good knowledge of Dutch

•Bachelor’s degree or similar in Logistics or other relevant area

•Knowledge of SAP S4/ECC is a plus.

•Knowledge of customs processes is an asset.

•Strong organizational and multitasking skills, precise and accurate

•Works well under pressure.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•Takes initiative, is problem solver and has critical-thinking abilities.

•Service minded and result-oriented team player.

•Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Word)

•Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team of professionals
