Donaldson, a $3.3B customer-focused, technology-led global filtration company, is seeking a Regional Senior Manager Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) to support our EMEA operations. The primary location for this position is Belgium (Leuven), however we are equally open to locate this position in another Donaldson EU location.
As a Senior Regional EHS Manager, you will lead multi-site implementation and sustainment of Donaldson’s global environmental, health and safety framework to continuously improve safety performance, reduce environmental impacts while ensuring a compliant workplace for our employees, visitors and neighbours following our people first philosophy. This position will report to the Senior Director of Global EHS.
Our desired candidate has experience aligning site targets and objectives with overall environmental, health and safety strategies. The Senior Regional EHS Manager will ensure site EHS teams prioritize work and leverage themselves and others to accomplish results. Although the role requires functional and technical expertise, success is dependent on providing appropriate information and tools people need to perform their work in a compliant, incident-free manner.

Role Responsibilities:
Oversee the Environmental, Health and Safety performance for multiple Countries with manufacturing and distribution sites, field service, and sales offices. Ensure conformance to the Donaldson EHS Framework and compliance to EU and Country regulatory requirements Guide, mentor, and coach site EHS leaders Perform site visits (review EHS plans, progress to plan, audit, etc.) Advise sites on goal setting and establishing 3–5 year strategy Contribute as a member of the Enterprise EHS team Assist in reviewing and updating the Donaldson EHS Framework Participate in implementing new initiativesMinimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree 8+ years of progressive experience in an EHS leadership role to include direct professional experience with: Leading cross-functional EHS projects and Compliance to EU OSH, EEC, (familiarization with OSHA & EPA) and other pertinent regulatory requirements Ability to travel up to 25-35%Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree Professional certifications in, and not limited to: Prevention Advisor 1-3, Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit, COORDINATEUR HSE, OSH Specialist, ASPP/RSPP, OSH System, CSP, CIH, CFPS, CHMM Multi-site EHS Leadership experience Strong written and verbal communications skills Direct personal experience with ISO 14001 and 45001, Tier 2 and TRI reporting, and other industry related standardsTag #LI-GP1
