The Kardex Remstar Standard Business consists of our standard storage and/ or orderpick solutions (machines, with or without software) and our conditioned (cleanroom, cool- and freeze units) storage solutions. In this role you are the expert with detailed knowledge of our own Kardex Products portfolio, but also of third party supply for Clean Room applications, Fire protection applications and Climate Controlled environments.
Your tasks
Solution Design Products
Build and maintain detailed technical knowledge of our Kardex Remstar Product Portfolio Build and maintain detailed technical knowledge of Kardex Climate Controlled solutions, Clean Room applications and Fire Protection Provide technical support to our Sales Team during the Sales Phase. Support can be required in a back-office role, but will also be required during customer meetings and presentations. Provide technical support to our Project Managers during the Realization Phase. Support can be required in a back-office role, but will also be required during customer meetings, during Detailed Design, installation, Testing & Commissioning Phase. You write technical specifications for a solution to be integrated in our customer offer You request offers from supplier based on a technical requirements document and verify if the supplier offer meets the requirements You prepare building lay-outs with our solutions integrated in the building You provide input for cost calculations for our projects You review Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety of the designed overall solution You prepare the technical Construction file and risk assessment for CE certification of the overall solution.You verify delivery compliancy of our suppliers and factory
Your profile
Language skills:
Dutch – native or fluent (both speaking and writing) English – minimum upper intermediate B1/B2 (both speaking and writing) French – nice to have German - Could be beneficial in communication with factoryEducation:
HBO education in relevant field of expertise like logistics or mechanical engineering Relevant experience will compensate educationRelevant work-experience and specific knowledge:
At least 5 years work experience in a similar role Experience in technical environment, preferably in the field of logistics/intralogistics or a similar industry Experienced user of modern communication tools and software (e. g. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Autocad and 3D)Other skills/competences/qualifications:
