Catering to discerning locals and luxury travellers, Corinthia Brussels will harmonise heritage with an avant-garde attitude.

The Sales & Marketing Management Assistant for Corinthia Brussels will support the Director of Sales & Marketing with the day-to-day running of the department. The person in this role will need to be highly collaborative and engage with the team to ensure the efficient running of key department activities. This role will offer a fantastic opportunity to understand the breadth of activities within the team and gain insight into all Sales & Marketing activities and the department’s overall strategy.

Be part of the opening team for this exciting project in Brussels, working for Brussels’ most fabulous address, including a luxury hotel but so much more; from a 1000sqm spa, gastronomic restaurant and brasserie, to a members’ club and retail concept space. This role will have the unique opportunity to work during a truly exciting pre-opening phase.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supports the Director of Sales & Marketing with the day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure the

efficient running of the department including managing the team travel schedule

· In the absence of the DOSM or Sales team, provides general support and welcome to clients and

visitors on their behalf

· Keeps up to date on market trends, competitor activity and guest satisfaction levels including

subscribing to relevant industry newsletters to share with the broader team

· Manages the distribution of all Marketing collateral within the hotel and verifies when new collateral

is needed, or should be updated, in partnership with the Marketing team

· Maintains the Sales & Marketing plan and budget overview in terms of updating activities and related invoicing

· Prepares weekly/monthly reporting and presentations as necessary, coordinating with the other members of the Sales & Marketing team, and distributing to relevant stakeholders

· Manages and maintains the event calendar with all key dates and opportunities

· Monitors the department inbox, sharing content with the relevant team members, for example influencer stays, media requests, event enquiries

· Assists key senior stakeholders with their LinkedIn presence & updates the company LinkedIn career page in partnership with the Social Media Executive and HR team

· Supports HR team with internal communications activities

· Supports PR Manager in coordinating press and influencer stays in coordination with hotel operations including in-room welcome kits

· Supports Social Media Executive to identify Surprise & Delight opportunities for in-house guests during their stay and coordinate with hotel operations

· Coordinates with central corporate teams to ensure hotel team is kept informed of any updates including templates and guidelines

· Sets up relevant accesses and tools for all team members

TALENT PROFILE

Experience:

· Proven experience in a Sales & Marketing support role, or PA/Management Assistant role · Good understanding of the different roles within the S&M organisation

Skills & Knowledge:

· A keen eye for detail · Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in an efficient way · Collaborative, people person

Education or Qualification:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing or similar field

Requirements:

· Fluent in English language, French & Dutch is a plus
