What can you expect?
As an Application Support & Test Engineer , you will, together with your colleagues, manage the business application portfolio and are responsible for testing these applications to ensure their quality and reliability.
Your role includes:
Providing daily support to users for problems or technical questions regarding the applications, actively seeking solutions, and serving as a technological helpdesk. Using active monitoring to proactively detect and resolve issues. Accurately assessing and addressing the priorities of outstanding issues. Designing, implementing, and executing comprehensive test plans. Developing test plans, cases, and scripts and executing them yourself. Utilizing automation tools and frameworks to improve and streamline test processes. Sharing valuable insights about the daily use of the applications with developers and analysts. Regularly conducting training sessions for end-users. Sharing responsibility for documentation.
Who are we looking for?
You already have experience in Application Support. You possess analytical thinking and a solution-oriented mindset, translating into concrete results. You work accurately and thoroughly. Experience in the Microsoft stack (O365, SQL, Azure, .NET, etc.) is a plus. Knowledge of Atlassian (JIRA/Confluence) and TestRail is an asset. You can independently manage and expand the support organization. Knowledge of reporting tools is a plus. You are highly communicative and able to convey complex technical information understandably to end-user. You speak fluent Dutch and English.
