Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
We are looking for expertise for the start-up of a CIS Program Management Office. In the coming years, Client will implement a large number of new capabilities and this will also result in large INFRA projects of the type Defence Headquarters, the Quarter Plan 2.0, etc.
For each of these programs, a permanent CIS representation is necessary to coordinate and align all internal IT Service Owners so that the programs are implemented in a timely manner. In this assignment, we are therefore looking for an expert with broad IT knowledge, with experience in setting up the management of complex programs. This expert will help guide the PMO start-up (limited team) and supervise and coordinate the most urgent INFRA related programs (DHQ, Kw plan 2.0 ...).
IMPORTANT, it is a full time that will run until 2030, of course an extension of one year will be carried out every year.
Skills
- Broad cyber and IT experience across infrastructure, applications, and security
- Demonstrated leadership in complex, high-pressure environments
- Experience in creating directives, operating models, and work methods for new capabilities
- Experience in lifecycle management of IT services (products, contract, processes, support organisation)
- Experience in military domain operations or NATO, Strong experience managing senior stakeholders
- Experience in Program board governance and reporting
- Experience with classified IT systems (minimum holds NS clearance or eligible
- Head of service experience of a service of at least 15 people
- IT management experience in an organisation of >10k employees
- Program management of large-scale IT programs (>50M EUR) with proven successful delivery
