Junior Controller | International Group, Services Sector | Diegem
Our client, an international group, is strengthening its Finance team and is looking for a Junior Controller to join a Finance & Business Support structure, reporting to a Finance Manager.
Your role:
Management Reporting & Controlling
- Support monthly and annual closing processes from a management perspective, working closely with the accounting team
- Maintain analytical data and cost allocation keys in internal systems
- Prepare periodic reports and dashboards, ensuring their accuracy and consistency
- Compare actual spend to budget and flag significant variances
- Actively contribute to the annual budgeting cycle and in-year forecasts
- Suggest improvements and automation opportunities for existing reporting tools
Accounting Support
- Assist the Accounts Payable team with the processing and coding of certain invoices
- Follow up on approval workflows and related reminders
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree, open to candidates early in their career
- A first experience in management control is an asset
- Good undertanding of accounting principles
- Fluent in Dutch and French, both spoken and written
- Comfortable with standard office tools; curiosity for AI-based solutions
- Rigorous, discreet, and client-oriented mindset
- Analytical thinking and a solution-driven approach
