IT Program Manager – Freelance - West-Vlaanderen/Hybrid

2 days per week on site

€690per day

Fluent English and B2 Dutch is required for this role

E-Commerce or Retail experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a large program-level team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and designers. Foster a collaborative environment and resolve complex, cross-project team dynamics.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary contact for key client stakeholders at the program level, managing strategic expectations, alignment, and long-term communications.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop program-level strategic plans to ensure multiple parallel project streams are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with overall business goals.
  • Financial and Risk Management: Manage overall program budgets, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate systemic risks. Provide structured reporting and metrics to executive leadership.
  • Quality and Standards Compliance: Ensure program-wide adherence to organizational standards and oversee the implementation of NFRs (Non-Functional Requirements) across all workstreams.

Qualifications:

  • Deep, comprehensive knowledge of Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Proven experience in a program leadership role managing large-scale, multi-stream projects in the IT and software development industry.
  • Extensive experience with strategic client management, especially in retail or e-commerce sectors.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and high-stress problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.


Preferred Skills:

  • Prior hands-on experience working as a Scrum Master is highly preferred.
  • Experience in managing multi-vendor setups and global, distributed teams. xolzvmg
