**Practice Area**

BCG Platinion launched in Germany in 2000 to add deep technical expertise to the Boston Consulting Group’s existing capabilities. Today, our presence spans across the globe, with offices in Asia, Europe, and South and North America. Our New York-based North American team began in 2014 and in 2017 acquired MAYA Design, a Pittsburgh-based digital design and innovation lab, to grow our capabilities around technology and design.

We support our clients’ total digital transformation through technology, design, cybersecurity, and risk management & financial engineering capabilities. And together with BCG, BCG Platinion’s interdisciplinary team of technical experts enable customized technical solutions and accelerate delivery value through new business platforms, application consolidations, and major system implementations.

What You'll Do

- Partner with client leadership teams to understand key challenges, define IT and digital strategies, and build alignment around recommendations.
- Lead BCG case teams to translate client ambition into measurable performance and business impact.
- Design and deploy tailored IT strategies, digital platforms, and target architectures using technologies such as cloud, AI, blockchain, microservices, and containerization.
- Own end-to-end responsibility for complex, highly technical project modules, including delivery execution, quality, risk, and stakeholder management.
- Evaluate and coach client technology teams while guiding functional design, execution, and overall project management.
- Develop compelling IT strategies and solutions by combining deep technical expertise with strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Demonstrate intellectual leadership by leading and mentoring diverse consulting teams, fostering learning through feedback, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to Practice Area development and help strengthen the BCG brand as a digital and technology leader.

What You'll Bring

- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related field
- 8–10 years of experience in technology strategy, IT consulting
- Proven track record at a top-tier consulting firm, leading IT strategy and implementation programs for complex digital initiatives.
- Strong experience in financial services or insurance, with deep technical expertise in banking or insurance platforms.
- Advanced expertise in data and cloud technologies, modern Agile toolsets, and large-scale legacy modernization.
- Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding analytical skills, strong client focus, and the ability to present architecture options and modernization roadmaps to C-level stakeholders.
- Ability to perform under pressure, willingness to travel globally
- Fluency in English and either French or Dutch.
