We are seeking a flexible and dynamic Python Developer who is excited about working in a role where daily tasks may vary and where projects evolve frequently. This role will require collaboration with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs, as well as direct involvement in technical development. The ideal candidate is comfortable with changing requirements, enjoys working in an agile environment, and thrives on a mix of tasks, from API integration to data analysis.
Key responsibilities
API integration and Access
Develop and maintain code for connecting to various external APIs
Understand and implement the authentication and authorization processes required to securely access APIs
Ensure data accessed from APIs is correctly integrated into our systems and is available for business stakeholders as needed.
Stay updated on API documentation to handle changes in API structures or endpoints
Dynamic Data handling
Implement solutions to gather, process, and provide insights from real-time data that is critical to business decision-making
Integrate data from APIs, ensuring data quality and availability to the business
Capture, log, and report the dates and times of API access for auditing and reporting purposes
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders
Work closely with business analysts to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications
Proactively communicate with business stakeholders to ensure clarity on requirements and the impact of development changes
Take initiative to address gaps in requirements and propose solutions to meet business needs
Agile development and continuous improvement
Participate actively in agile workflows, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Contribute to ongoing improvements in development practices, focusing on speed, flexibility, and quality of work
Adapt to the evolving nature of the projects, quickly adjusting priorities and tasks based on stakeholder feedback and business changes
Quality assurance and deployment
Write and maintain tests to ensure code quality and reliability in a constantly evolving environment
Document and test solutions rigorously to ensure they meet business requirements and handle potential data inconsistencies
Deploy solutions in a secure, reliable, and scalable manner, with clear documentation for ongoing support and maintenance
