Your mission:
As a People Partner at Paynovate, you’ll be instrumental in creating a meaningful employee experience, ensuring every interaction—from onboarding to offboarding—leaves a lasting positive impact. You’ll manage day-to-day HR operations while supporting strategic initiatives that prioritise both efficiency and employee engagement. Reporting to the Head of People, you’ll work across multiple countries and help shape a modern HR approach that leverages technology and automation to reduce manual work and enhance productivity.
- Employee Experience & Moments that Matter: Act as a key contact for employees throughout their journey, crafting memorable experiences at each touchpoint. You’ll help create “moments that matter” that reinforce our values and make employees feel valued and connected.
- Digital HR & Automation: Utilise HR technology and automation tools to streamline processes, reduce administrative work, and enhance the employee experience. Your digital savvy will help build efficient systems that allow more time for meaningful people interactions.
- HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including both soft HR (e.g., onboarding, employee engagement, training, and performance) and hard HR (e.g., payroll coordination, contracts, and compliance).
- Employee Development: Contribute to designing and implementing employee developmentprograms and support performance management processes to help employees grow and reach their full potential.
- Payroll oversight: Oversee payroll processes in collaboration with our payroll provider, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and compliance with local regulations.
- Policy & Compliance: Help implement policies and practices that align with our company culture and values. You ensure compliance with local regulations, labour laws, and industry standards.
- International HR Support: Manage HR responsibilities across multiple countries, ensuring adherence to local labour laws and alignment with company values.
Is this you?
At Paynovate, we focus on positioning the right talent in the right roles, empowering our people to drive the business forward. We seek someone who:
- Brings 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist, ideally within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Is digitally savvy, with a strong understanding of HR tech and automation tools to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
- Possesses expertise in both soft and hard HR, managing day-to-day operations, compliance, and employee engagement with ease.
- Has experience supporting HR functions across multiple countries, with a solid understanding of international HR practices and compliance is a strong asset.
- Is fluent in English and speaks either Dutch or French.
- Has a strong knowledge of Belgian labour law, with additional expertise in other countries.
- Shows excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Is adaptable and resilient, thriving in a fast-paced, scale-up context.
