As an HR partner you are in daily contact with the management teams and team leaders of a specific population you are in charge of regarding all HR aspects. You are part of the HR team and call upon HR experts in competence centers to develop overall HR projects, programs, operational solutions and practices that contribute to the achievement of the business objectives of your respective departments/divisions.
More specifically:
- You are the preferred SPOC for your business, acting as HR SPOC for one or more divisions/departments and offering HR consulting, finding, implementing and communicating HR solutions in the areas of organizational & employee development, headcount and FTE budget management, recruitment, compensation & benefits and performance management.
- Together with the competence centers, you participate in the development and implementation of the operational and strategic HR projects and concepts and are thus responsible for their equal application.
- You provide input and advice regarding the development of the organization and its employees and facilitate change.
- Together with the business, you manage and communicate the HR calendar (including the social agenda) in order to help achieve the business strategy/objectives. You coordinate union files and respond to union interventions for your specific division/department.
- You work with the business on the People Plan of the future, in line with the priorities of the Strategic Workforce Plan.
- You present and analyze workforce satisfaction results and develop action plans with the business.
- You are part of the HR partner team and provide spontaneous feedback on your population and take initiatives that can help your fellow HR partners with similar issues.
- You work on a transversal HR project.
- You keep close contact with the HR competence centers and the HR Strategic Advisors.

- Divisional/departmental management teams.
- Team leaders.
- HR experts in GHR.
- Social partners.
Your Profile:
- You preferably have a university degree.
- You have a minimum of 5 years working experience as an HR business partner in a large company.
- You have strategic insight, and at the same time you are very hands-on and can work pragmatically.
- You are customer-oriented with an employee-first reflex in your nature. You challenge when necessary.
- You are communicative, both orally and in writing, and you can organize well. You can build bridges between opposing interests. You are fluent in formatting and giving presentations.
- You are a team player focused on cooperation across teams.
- You are diplomatic, maintain an overview and have insights into the various HR processes and how they are linked.
- You are discrete in handling confidential files.
- You can synthesize business problems and translate them into clear proposals and actions. You are able to convince others of your proposals.
- You work in an organized, structured manner and can clearly set priorities.
- You have a constructive attitude, a growth mindset and can deal with a rapidly changing environment.
- You are fluent trilingual in NL/FR/ENG.
