Our client is looking for a Ops Engineer to join them on a contract basis. Please be aware for this role the successful candidate must have a belgium residence and speak English. You will be based out of their Brussels office and will be required to go into the office 50% of the time. Key responsibilitiesresponsible for the deployment of applications and/or infra components over different environments, and responsible for the stability of their own application and/or infra componentidentification of application and infra related problemstaking the lead for incident solutionresponsible for monitoring, documenting, testing, performance, life cycle management, study, technical behaviour and run of the application and/or infra componentscoordination of all modifications for different infra components and environmentsspecification, design, testing and deployment of the runtime runbooks and the rollback runbooksspecification, design and execution of performance and acceptance testing (including high availability and disaster recovery testing)assuming all application and/or infra modifications to be compliant with ecurity policiescontribute to the construction of the architecture, the setup of environments, and ensure the execution of life cycle managementtake all required actions to configure and implement monitoring via tools (Alerts)ensure that the squad contributes to service operations processes. Responsible for the execution and follow up of ITIL processes like "incident", "problem" and "change" processresponsible for the creation/maintenance of documentation and knowledge base required for incident solving concerning the application and/or infra componentindicate and escalate potential impedimentsinitiate process improvements Required skillsExpert in implementation of KubernetesExpert in usage of TerraFormFollows the Customer processes for projects, incident and change managementBeing standalone and team worker, analytical minded, meet commitment, ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment, flexible, customer-oriented, understand risk awarenessMotivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detailAble to understand bank related business processes and assess impacts on businessAgile methodology Interested, intrigued or want to find out more?
