As our new Customer Service Representative in Mechelen, you will be responsible for our Domestic Business. You will facilitate Sales fulfilment and coordinate a broad portfolio of processes with business partners, logistics service providers, business units, supply chain functions and shared services to drive operational excellence from business preparation until the money is in the bank.
In this role, your key activities are:
- Day to day interface with business partners in order to address customer´s supply and service needs.
- Order processing, delivery creation, transport booking in co-operation with our forwarders, invoicing Applicable domestic activities.
- Follow up of payment behaviour of the customer to ensure on-time-payment.
- Supply timely and accurate response to any customer requests.
- First contact for issues, defects and complaints – respond to customer complaints.
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and/or relevant experience in area of Customer Service.
- You have knowledge in order management, you also have a basic knowledge of SAP, Excel and remote communication tools, and area of finance.
- It is necessary to be fluent in English (spoken and written), with a good understanding of French. Knowledge of Spanish is beneficial.
- You will need excellent communication skills, a pro-active way to work, good cultural awareness, excellent self-organisation and time management skills. Furthermore you are highly customer oriented and you feel comfortable in solving problems and managing your own customer desk in a result driven way in a fast changing environment
